A Child Of Light

In a land so far away on a dark And balmy night, The world lay peacefully knowing All was calm and right. But then at once there was a stir,far above in the sky And in the indigo sky a star appeared It filled above them with streaming Beams across the sky . It was the story the prophecy It was the sign they all were told This sign of a star brightly shinning in the sky It was the promise foretold for you and me And so they followed that light , and there it stood above a simple stable It's rays of light beaming down for all to see Slowly they ventured in to see the beams of ight steaming down on a mange Where the infant child slept peacefully
