A Change To Come

I couldn’t watch the news today
For fear of what they were to say
Someone’s missing or found dead
Guess I’ll listen to radio instead

But, its no better
Same old thing
Everyone still fighting, arguing
I have to block the energy
That tries to draw me in

Enough to drive the sane insane
It calls to me and screams my name
Cant let this dark swallow my light
So, I block it all and stay inside

And I will do the best I can
Start my task with one woman
Live by his word and let him see
I’ll start my fight by changing me
