A Celestial Painting
When the day is long over - and you feel tired and weary,
There is no need for you - to remain dark and dreary.
Take a walk outside - and look up at the sky,
Breathe in the nights beauty - as the stars shine down from on high!
They sparkle and twinkle - each one trying to catch your eye,
They give you time for quiet contemplation - as you release a contented sigh.
The constellations are now beginning - to appear before your sight,
Aren't you very glad now - that you decided to come outside tonight?
Hanging high above you - is a sight truly magnificent to behold,
A silvery shining beacon of light - so prominent and bold!
This painting never changes - and is valuable beyond price,
Which makes going outside at night - especially kind of nice!
