A Catalogue of Cardiac Confusion

Impossible to not remember
Preserve thoughts in precious amber
Promise that you feel it too
Do you feel it when I think of you?
A matter of proficiency
Tidal collision where oceans meet
Can't define real from spoof
Ignites already flaming truths
Mistook the flame you burnt for me
As a bonfire for my dignity
Erodes and weathers, faded grandeur
Just how much can a heart endure?

Oh to fell love's sting once again or as they say, 'Better to have loved than to have never loved at all." I enjoyed your poem very much.
