A cat may look at a king

We are all descendants of kings and slaves. No one is better than another. Our souls are all eternal and growing through this school called life on earth.

A cat may look at a king

A cat may look at a king
A king I do not want to be
Surrounded by countless subjects
Who never get to move around freely

Instead I shall be a muse
An inspiration and a light
To ignite your very soul
And watch its freedom flight

Growing and glowing and being
Everything that you can be
Your soul wants your best heart
Its beating with hope and meaning

You don't need to be a king
Nor do you need the title to reign
For each of us is an eternal soul
Forever free to burn our brightest flame
