A Cardinal In a Tree

Come along and sit with me
And let us share a memory
Of a Spring morning with a gentle breeze.
When spied a cardinal perched in a cherry tree;

Resplendent red plumaged vision;
Radiating from soft white inflorescence;
Variegation searing the moments influence;
Homage to creations inspirational brilliance;

I loved the word useage and imagery it helped create. I had to look up three words to know their definition, but that was a fun experience. And to know how it made your poem blossom; what a thrill!

Thank you Shane for your comment. I believe I had to search a dictionary when I wrote this. I was in search of words to describe the natural wonder and beauty of the red cardinal perched amongst the lovely white cherry blossoms.
