A Busy Christmas

Lights shimmer and shine everywhere
Presents being wrapped with care
Decorations hung on trees
Bring back happy memories
Of the ones we made in school
That we saved and are still used
Mistletoe hung from above
So you can kiss the ones you love
We play our favorite Christmas songs
As children try and sing along
Signing cards with hugs and kisses
Making our holiday wishes
Loading cameras, we go crazy
From all this holiday frenzy
Elves are working through the night
To make sure every toy is right
For Santa to fill up his sled
As little ones are tucked in bed
Another year is almost done
Full of memories and fun

This is very heartwarming and it brought back good memories for me! My Mom still hangs ornaments on the tree, that I made in school, too! I really enjoyed reading this one today. Wonderful work, Robin!

Christmas is always so hectic; that's why I prefer to shop online. I made the mistake once of going to Wal-Mart the day before Christmas and BOY was that blunder lol. Never again! Another sweet gem from you, SP! <3

Great one, Robin. You're good at expressing simple thoughts in a great way. You made my Sunday full of sunshine. Friend, JM
