A Burning Heart
Burning as a lover
A fire in my heart
When to set the sail
Journeys to impart?
I have held a promise
Quick within my hand:
"The ocean lies in waiting
Just beyond these sands"
So my hope is hostage
To one I cannot see
Even in a thicket
My heart has been set free
Eternally I'll wait
Holding on a thread
Never once have I regret
Never have I dread
Upon the shore I wait
So sail within the seam
Yet still shall I wait
All is not as it seems
