A Burden Forgotten

I'm an "A" student, with a full plate,
I wanna burst through the gates of my soul,
I'm special but no one sees it,
I'm incredible but i won't submit,
Society can wait, I'm too good to waste...
I am a blooming flower- beauty in wait,
I am a raging storm- powerful beyond belief,
I am a scientist- changing the world,
No one sees me, but I'm great...!
I'm in the shadows,
Beneath the floor,
Hidden behind your door...
I am everywhere- and nowhere,
I am beauty,
I am shame,
I am unclaimed....
Loneliness isn't always a burden,
It can be the sunshine found in the heart of a bad place...
I may not be known to the world,
But I can say- I am known to those that matter...
