A Bunny Tale

A cool breeze floats in the air. Up on the hillside, flowers start to bloom. Amongst the new blades of green grass sat a tiny hare, Heading to the lush, glimmering garden, I presume. His fur was smooth and silky, And white as snow with a black heart on his face. He looked plump, and a little silly, With those fuzzy, floppy ears in place. Hopping steadily on the sweet-smelling ground, A small, soft, white ball of fluff. His pink nose started twitching, and he looked around. And then he pulled on some leafy stuff. I looked closer, what could it be? Something in the ground suddenly popped out! An orange carrot, so scrumptious and juicy. "Get out of my garden," I heard someone shout! The silly, cute little rabbit grabbed his prize, And in a flash, he was out of sight! I know what I saw was only for my eyes, Making the first day of Spring sunny and bright.
