A Bullet From My Valentine
A BULLET FROM MY VALENTINE
Now I only see you
In someone else’s arms
When it’s me that really needs
The presence of your charms
If I could only make you see
What losing you has done to me
A world bereft of Spirit,
A world bereft of fire,
Now loneliness and emptiness
Replace my heart’s desire
What is there left to live for?
Where is that open door?
Or must I really be
Just left here on the floor?
It’s too late to recover
It’s too late to run
So come and shoot that bullet
From your golden gun.
