A Broken Hearts Story
We were back to back, my fortress my solid wall
But then you stood up and left me cold,
How the world turned grey, the moment time stood still
The hourglass kept flowing, I couldnt turn back the clock,
Life went on, there wasnt a glimmer of rememberance,
The sweet melody of our heaets, disapperead to the morning zyphr
The wind gradually coursed through my airtight heart,
Trying to no avail to breath life into the empty spaces,
My soul fire dwindled and died, like a crescendo of white noise ,avalanches of dolefulness came crashing down on my senses
I was left numb, submerged in a roaring river of wreckage
Marooed at sea, my tears wouldnt stop flowing
The rain God hated my cries of grief and joined in my wailing heart,
Each deluge tried to wash away the pain but to nought effect
Instead my heart got carried away with the tide
Free falling into a vortex of precarious security,
I landed smack hard on the gravity, the wind blowing through something that I once called HEART.
A life I once treasured, a moment that evaporated too soon.
