A Broken Heart

You said you wanted to be with me
And I wanted to be with you
We did things couples would do
I gave my trust to you
My love to you
I put my all into you
Thinking it was a dream come true
And you was the one for me
But I let my feeling take over my body
I didn’t think you was
Like all the other dudes
Out there in the streets
I thought you was different
But I was too blind to see
You gave me you and I gave you me
Next thing I knew here come a baby
I told you not thinking
You would run your mouth
To your boys in the streets
Using my name like a piece of meat
So yea I denied it
I try to hide it
And cover it up
Even though it was true I
Knew I messed up
I shouldn’t have gave my all to you
This hurt
This pain
You put me through
I should have known you was like
All these other dudes
Just out to catch a nut
In mess other people lives up
We even talked about marriage
But all I got was a broken heart
And a miscarriage
And I thought we was going to be together
But I guess I spoke to soon
Now all I can do is
Reminisce about how it could’ve
Been with you
