A Brighter Day

Sometimes dark clouds of gray will hover
Do not despair; this is simply God's signal for us to take cover

Take cover, for rain will certainly drop, pour, or shower
Be encouraged! There is grand assurance in knowing that this is the
'divine hour'

Yes! A time for peace and solitude so that we may focus on the most high
A time to reflect, show gratitude, and draw nigh

It is true for it is written and often said, 'Trouble doesn't last always.'
This is why it is so imperative for us to always give thanks and praise

So remember, you're God's child and you're loved in a special way
After the rain, God sends his sun to dry and brighten your day
