A Bond To Build

Smells and spells; time spent and wasted.
What purpose is this done for?
Ingrained images and actions are pasted
In our minds to set score.

The points are what matter before emotions are felt.
It's the risk that we take
Because words may not matter nor the perfume to be smelt
And we wait, but the bond may not bake.

Although, what if it does and flourish and grow
To be something set solid in stone?
The wonder to be felt and the love that we'll know
Will be worthy to keep for our own.

Yes! I shall try to laugh and to cry,
Riding the waves that you give me.
Just keep in mind that my actions imply
My passion and will to stay free.
