A Blessing

Blessing Updated June 2023

I wish that you rediscover
The contentment and rest
Silently waiting
Like a patient guest
In the home of your heart.
And all that you feel and then express,
Simply flowers, as your exquisite art.

If you become tired and weak
Let Grandmother Earth replenish you
Through the souls of your feet.

Let the power of fire
Burn away the weight of obsolete beliefs
And lift you higher.

Let the healing rain
Wash away your old
Doubt, suffering and pain.

Let the Winds of change
Blow in your windows and doors
And scatter the cobwebs you call fear,
So your light shines once more
And that which was hidden is revealed
And all that is spurious, simply starts to disappear.

I wish that you never stop being curious
Then problems become chances to grow
And keep on opening your hands to receive
The wisdom of the universe in flow.
Every time you pick yourself up
And open the door,
Your compassion deepens
And you know a little more.
So allow yourself
To feel really proud and blessed
Because you never give up
And always give your best.

As you open your arms to the unpredictable weather,
You lose the need for perfection
And move between the peace of aloneness
And nourishing connection
And can live each day
With Love as your light and direction
And gratitude and joy the way.
