Notes About The Poem

As far as I know, which isn't very far, this form hasn't been used before (rhyme abccba, syllable count 8-6-4-4-6-8). The design drives intensity to the middle of the poem.

A Blackbird Flies Before the Moon

A blackbird flies before the moon,
A life shall pass away;
A death, a bird,
Together stirred,
Fused in a lunar ray;
The wings of a fate falling soon.
