A Birthday Muse
This time is now to love and laugh,
To celebrate your glorious birth,
Express my thanks your path pursued,
Did lead to this.
Let's drink one glass to fancies passed,
No treasure brings a greater worth,
Then passion's pulses stirred up new,
Each time we kiss.
What birthday gift could I then craft,
But then to be your willing serf,
And you the subject of my muse
'Til we desist.
Through changing times true feelings last,
As seasons shale, remolding earth,
Note; nothing shakes or bends my view,
That you exist.
