A Birthday Muse

This time is now to love and laugh;
To celebrate your glorious birth;
Express my thanks your path pursued;
Did lead to this.

Let's drink one glass to fancies passed;
No treasure brings a greater worth;
Then passion's pulses stirred up new;
Each time we kiss.

What birthday gift could I then craft;
But then to be your willing serf;
And you the subject of my muse;
'til we desist.

Through changing times true feelings last;
As seasons shale, remolding earth;
Note, nothing shakes or bends my view;
That you exist.
