A Beautiful Friendship
You are no longer by my side,
doing those little things that me smile.
you lived each day,
full of life, never faltering with that bright smile.
If you were here today,
you would have seen more than a thousand people mourn your loss,
contemplating how do they move on.
and why? because your love for persons
showed by your encouraging words and pleasant
demeanor.
Even knowing that you were dying,
did not phase you at all.
There was no tears of self pity or question
of why me? sometime I wonder who comforted who.
Just as you lived you died peaceful one memorable day
that bright smile slowly fading away.
I appreciate memories, it is what keeps me going
that is something that will never be taken away.
