A Beautiful Day

It’s a beautiful day;
Waking us from a nightmare -
We’re into a lovely day;
I thank the lord to be still around,
The future comes through with no promise,
Yet bears another story
It’s such a blessed day,
Even if - to the day’s end,
Many get weary with no gain over love and life;
The world still wags on,
As though,
Everything is in order and in serenity.
