A pale blue haze hangs heavily over the earth
Or it seems to on this beautiful Christmas card
Announcing the miracle of sweet Jesus’s birth
A pale blue haze hangs heavily over the earth
The manger scene, an unlikely common berth,
Wise men’s gifts tell us of his incredible worth
A story told time and again by the poet bard

Tom L Milton Hankins December 13, 2021 at 11:07 AM I have noticed that, Tom. Fewer and fewer folks are sending cards these days. Postage rates are really prohibitive. I gave up years ago, because I couldn't afford to send cards to everyone in the churches I served, and I would dare pick out a few favorites!!!
