A Barren Place

A barren place with nothing but rumbles An empty space with nothing but crumbles Not much water left, so much blood shed My heart doesn’t cry, my eyes are dry Being there when all is lost, being alive, when still dead Hell is what? I felt it now Feels like there is nothing Nothing is there, but emptiness Lost is God, lost is this world With empty hands, nothing to pray The game you play, is for the fame you say? The fame you say, is a bloody game you play

This is incredibly sad and beautiful. I can never fully grasp the extent of the pain that caused the poet in you to come out with this moving piece, Hasan. What I can do is try to empathize the best way any new acquaintance could. I know someone who lived the story in your poem...This is an awesome 7. Welcome back, fellow poet. Hugs and smiles from the thousand isles. :D Kim
