A Bantu Walks Into a Bar
Wet Crows huddled in a tree
Golf carts in the rain
The wind holds its breath
sad bagpipes whine
a wolf-like predator
a trail of Cheerios
Owl’s feathers
silence amid the noise
no place to go
six cats on a marble floor
playing at the dinner table
French fry vamps
Movie matinee
A popcorn fantasy
