A Balloon

Once this balloon was lost in the pack
was hard to find for it blended with others
some where left behind on the rack
Then a day the balloon
was taken out of the pack
purchased by a man
As he began to blow air into it
The balloon began to look different
all it’s wrinkles and stiffness
began to disappear
the more breath
the more beautiful
He was so excited
He decided to go outside
in faith that His balloon would fly
As He let it go
The balloon began to drift up
 away from this world
It escaped the trees
and power lines in its path
To fly and search
where all balloons reside

Some things need help...human or otherwise...to reach their full potential.

A wonderful poem comparing the balloon to our search for where we will reside and hopefully it's with the Lord. God Bless Phyl

Seems that anything can be an example of hope and be beauty even a balloon. I love this poem. Thanks for sharing with the soup.
