A 3 hour playlist
I want to drive my car
3 hours of tunes taking me far
I want to get away
And let my music play
I don't care for anything scenic
Just being in the moment and meaning it
A 3 hour playlist playing away
Oh how that would be a lovely day
Dogs in the back, enjoying it too
Music soothing to get me through
Doesn't matter where the road leads
All that matters is the music and me
Iv been so lost this last month
My mental health has been in a slump
Music usually my most faithful friend
Hasn't helped this time, I'm at the end
But driving down some country lanes
Music blaring to keep me sane
That would be a wonderful day
It would be sure to take the pain away
A 3 hour playlist I have in mind
Every song leaving the pain behind
Doesn't matter if its rain or shine
A 3 hour playlist that is all mine
Enough talk now of voices and visions
It's just the music I need to make my decisions
Driving my car to the end of the road
A 3 hour playlist to take me home
I want to feel as free as the road
I want to feel normal and take what I'm owed
A 3 hour playlist to help me feel sane
A 3 hour playlist to make me human again
Whether or not I do it, Time will tell
Iv got no soul left to sell
Depression and mania have bled me dry
All I want is to get in the car and drive
A 3 hour playlist to make the wrongs right
A 3 hour playlist to help me sleep tonight
A 3 hour playlist to make me whole
A 3 hour playlist to take me home
I want to drive in my car
I don't know if I'll get very far
A 3 hour playlist my only friend
A 3 hour playlist with me until the end
