A 24 7 Pastor
A 24/7 PASTOR
A 24/7 pastor—that’s what you are to me,
A 24/7 pastor—there when I have a plea.
A 24/7 pastor—staying awake through a night;
A 24/7 pastor—my, you must look a sight!
A 24/7 pastor—studying so hard in God’s word,
A 24/7 pastor—hoping somebody has heard.
A 24/7 pastor—a duty most people would dread,
A 24/7 pastor—you have assumed it instead.
A 24/7 pastor—people may mock you and say,
“A 24/7 pastor?!?—my, you are crazy today!”
A 24/7 pastor—crying in prayer through those years,
A 24/7 pastor—a son for whom he shed tears.
A 24/7 pastor—a man who is Holy Spirit filled,
A 24/7 pastor—desiring to live in God’s will.
A 24/7 pastor—with a wife who’s behind him each day.
A 24/7 pastor—what more could he wish for that way?
A 24/7 pastor—with a church that’s so generous and kind,
A 24/7 pastor—always new ways they will find.
A 24/7 pastor—now I have written these lines—
A 24/7 pastor—THANK GOD THAT HE MADE YOU MINE!
