I can picture the plants stretching and yawning as they awaken, Gert. Your Haiku paints another spring scenery so well. Can't wait to see them all in bloom! Always, Annalise

Nice Haiku, Gert! Usually Haiku have 5-7-5 syllable counts, but perhaps it is not required. I love the picture you portrayed with it. Thanks for sharing. Alles Gute! Caroline.

Muy bonito. Yes! Those crows are kaw-kawing up a storm around here, but we just got another snowstorm. Bummer. I don't think the crows are bonito - or is it bonita? - just negro/negra. Love, Dave

What a lovely image of spring, Gert. The flowers are already slowly awakening here and birds of many colors are starting nests in trees. I hope you entered this haiku in Carol's contest, dear friend. It's perfect! I am out of town until Wednesday, but wanted to say hi. Love you and your poetry, Carolyn
