God in My Life
(First Part)

My Baptism in Makati
Was like the Annunciation to Mary
Announced was her being Mother of Christ
Announced was my being Christianized

When I was a kid
My playmates I envied
For their having a sibling
So I fervently prayed for that thing

And God answered my prayer
He gave me a sister
And so it was
She lives with us

Our churchgoing was happy in Las Piñas
Every Sunday our parents would treat us
But when we transferred to the province
It has become different ever since

Here I became Valedictorian in elementary
But Salutatorian only in secondary
I lost my being Top 1
And found what mistakes I had done

As I entered college in UP
It was like the 1st Luminous Mystery
College life welcomed me
Baptized in our country's premier university

In my 2nd year in UP
There was a miracle from Mama Mary
She didn't listen to my prayer
Because there was something better

For my remaining years in UP
Allah came to touch me
Through the religion of Islam
I proclaimed God's kingdom


And as I graduated from UP
God greatly transformed me
From being a part-time broadcaster
To being a full-time teacher

First to Korean students in Fermat Academy
Then to college students in Capiz State University
My being a teacher in that institution
Would become for me a Divine Mission

My 1st Sorrowful Mystery
In Capiz State University
Was when I was removed as TED Secretary
When Mar Roxas became Secretary of DILG

My 2nd Sorrowful Mystery
In Capiz State University
Was when I was kicked out from TED
And then Supertyphoon Yolanda devastated

My 3rd Sorrowful Mystery
In Capiz State University
Was when I received bashings & shame
And then Santa Muerte came

My 4th Sorrowful Mystery
In Capiz State University
Was when I was reprimanded
Due to my allegations against TED

My 5th Sorrowful Mystery
In Capiz State University
Was when I lost it finally
And Mar Roxas also lost the presidency
