It's been 7 months ago, today
That my life was torn apart
That fateful day you went away
You took with you a part of my heart
My heart has been so broken
In the days since you've been gone
So many words were left unspoken
You stopped singing your beautiful song.
My life has changed so much my dear
In the time that we've been apart
I reminisce of your early years
Your young life from end to start
7 months seems like so long
To go on without you here
Your death it just seems so wrong
The reasons to me will never be clear.
Each day I'll go on without you
I'll take each moment as it comes
Something I now know to be true
Is I'll see you when my life is done
