77th Republic Day
When India became a Republic,
The Constitution laws were made public;
We recall freedom fighters and leaders,
Through sacrifices, they were peace seekers;
Duties of national subjects made clear,
Justice, liberty, dignity, no fear;
"Unity in diversity" flaunted
Through parades where states take part undaunted;
Let's follow what the Constitution cites
About responsibilities and rights;
Republic Day encourages us all
To build our nation and make it stand tall;
The future lies in the hands of our youth,
Let's work hard together to grow in truth.
