5 Things I Should Have Told You On June 21st

1
When you walked in
I should have hugged you
And told you that I missed you
I'm sorry about

2
When I "liked" that girl
I wasn't lying to you
I was lying to myself
To get you out of my head

3
When you sang
And I told you that
You were a good singer
I should have said that
You were the best singer

4
When she was crying
And so was I
When you took my hand
I should have said "thank you"

5
When you asked me
If I still like you
I should have said no
I should have told the truth
I should have said
"I love you"

Ah, these moments are put into our path for a reason so we know what to do the next time. Profoundly poignant, Lily.
