4:30am

i feel barely two feet tall - down on my knees i start to crawl - a love letter to God i begin to
scrawl - i hear laughter down the hall - i cry out i hear them call - i see shadows i fear them
all - i bang my head on my bedroom wall - painted picture/tainted Scripture starts to fall
crashing down on my bedroom floor - smashing right through my bedroom door - just as the
clock stops at half past four - i am back to where i was before - i reach into my dresser
drawer - i cannot take it anymore
