2 A.M. Kissed As the Light

2 A.M. Kissed as the Light

2 a.m. kissed as the light
I remember so well that night
The car went through a red light
We heard a crash that night

Everything was so bright
Trying to help we pull them out
Doing all we can
Helping a woman, girl, and man

Just in time before it blew
Giving mouth to mouth to who
Little girl reaching out calling my name
Finding out her father's name

They all survive
Because you and I were there
I am so glad they're alive
Strangers and still we care

2 a.m. kissed as the light
I won't forget that night
