I say have the chicks wear hats, I do. I didn't really get what you here trying to express, not in haiku form, was unexpected. I kinds like it though....?

NaHaiWriMo ia group that writes non 5-7-5 haiku in order to honor the Japanese, who started the form. NOTE: chicks in the hat poem is juxtaposition! because it takes us away form the hats....to the mama-bird's chicks that died when their moms were killed. It also takes us to girls that wear those hats. I left it like that intentionally. Thanks for commenting I hope this has helped you understand it a little better. Smiles
