26 Miles and 385 Yards

A Greek soldier's fabled run
to Athens from the battlefield
announcing the defeat of the Persian,
a Greek soldier's fabled run,
he collapsed as his job was done.
'Athens is saved' he just yelled,
a Greek soldier's fabled run
to Athens from the battlefield.

I do not know of this story, but it's a very interesting way to do that miles contest, Kashinath. SO nice to see you using a triolet form!! I really like this!
