24 Hours

Twenty four hours
Only lasts a day
It’s never really long enough
For all I’ve got to say

So many times we never speak
Or say the truth we feel
Afraid of somehow looking weak
And so are standing still

Life will pass us by
As sands of time run out
So grab each moment while you can
And see what life’s about

Vikki, if only our days would last forever. As with my Dad, it all goes by "Too Fast for Me." You evoked powerful emotions in this awesome work. Thank you - Carolyn
