23:07 - What I'D Love To Say

What am I to you?
An occasional text?
A platonic acquaintance
From the opposite sex?
The businessman's daughter?
A friend of a friend?
The older one's sister,
Too young, in the end?
A recurrent annoyance?
Just someone you know?
That girl who you stayed with
One week in the snow?
A face to recall?
Or a voice to be lost?
A blind spot, a no-one
A one-night one-off?
The one who you stare at?
A wish without name?
The one you think of
When your girlfriend's away?
Someone who's missed you
Each day you've been gone.
Someone who'll wait...
No matter how long.
