2012

Ancient words
One hundred generations old
Predicting the future
Dire events with sadness and death
The coming of kings
The death of queens
The birth and fadings of nations
Mighty and weak
They predict a date
The end of the world as we know it
Will it be famine, war or death?
Can the human race survive?
Could it be a universal peace?
Would the world want that?
Could it handle life without war?
Will life go on unchanged?
We can only hope
We can pray
That we will be around to celebrate
To welcome January 1, 2013
