1st Anniversary

its been one year since we got together 
with that day my whole life changed 
we stared off as best friends forever 
but soon our our love aged 

we've been through many storms 
but rainbows followed them all 
our love was shown in many forms 
with small trips to the mall 

special events which made you a father 
events that turned our lives around 
I was a happy mother 
events that brought us to the ground 

so for our one year anniversary... 

I've come to realize something 
with my tears you seam to mend 
your more than my boyfriend now 
cause your also my best friend
