1 Year

It’s been one year since
I still have a slight wince
But problems finally normal
No longer labeled a criminal
I glow with patient reservation
With a stony smile I go on my run
Damaged yet able to love deeper
Yearning to better dote the next her
I count life’s ticks with more admiration
I have one more chance to have a son
The second chance will not be spoiled
My heart is finally ready and well coiled
As long as I have air to breath
I will recreate my soul’s creed
