1 Mile High

1 mile high

In Saudia Arabia they are building a shack
going to be a mile high
With parachutes for the top floors, Jack
F15 ejector seats stand by

Lower floors have slides
And some have flying foxes
So don’t be looking down your nose
No need to be obnoxious

So up there in the clouds you’ll sit
Low flying planes a zooming by
Watch out for Pelican grit
 plaster from the sky

I am reading such diverse poems here today. Poet's hearts are bleeding out poetry. That is where the best poetry comes from. It has been my pleasure to read your poetry today Don. Continue to write and share it and I will be back to read it. Have a wonderful day and may you find inspiration along the way. Love, Carol
