1989 Girl All Is Fine

1989 Girl All is Fine
All I wanted was to be loved
Do you not see that?
30 years ago I was 17
I wanted my alternative goth girl
The one in the purple skirt
I wanted her to call to the house
And say she missed me and loved me
That it would be all ok Nick
And nobody will hurt you
With words or fists or threats
But you never did walk up to my path
Never knocked on my door
Or walked thru my door
You never even existed
Except as an idea or dream
You never existed
I am sorry
Why?
