145 Days Down

145 days ago your soul left your body and went to an unknown.
145 days ago you gasped your last breath on this earth, all alone.
145 days ago we wouldn't be aware of your spirits dimmed once beaming flare, until your body was to be identified by the woman who gave you air.
145 days ago our lives changed forever. The big sister I knew was gone and she wasn't coming back, not now not ever.
35 years ago you were just a little lamb. Wherever did time go wrong, to put you in harm's hands. Sometimes my days just blur. How I wish this feeling of missing wasn't for her.
145 days ago a light was put out and transferred about.
On the 146th day I looked up and decided to pray, to give me strength for the next 145 days.
