Congratulations on your poem being on the winners' list. Way to go. I enjoyed reading it. Very creative work. I felt this one personally because years ago, I asked my husband to get my a plain old bicycle and my pants got caught on the seat and I fell. I ended up about 6 months later having to have spinal surgery. Sara K

Ouch! Sounds like 'Mulga Bill's Bicycle' by Banjo Patterson (famous Oz poem 1896) - worth looking up if you don't know it. J :)

Hi Jeanette, thank you for pointing out my poem, being similar to Banjo's Mugla Bill's Bicycle. On my first holiday in Australia, I received as a Christmas present, a book spanning from the first fleet, to the 200th anniversary, including not only Banjo's poems, but all his lifetimes achievements.
