1-31-10 My Love, My Angel [my Nick]
Finally the night has come and i will lay upon the clouds,
and though they have been warmed by days sun,
they are no warmth compaired to yours,
my eyes will shut softly and i will fall to dreams,
and there are angels feathers around me,
though their softness will never compair to your skin,
the night with darkness masks vision,
so that those who wish may gaze forever,
in both darkness and light i shall gaze into your eyes like starlight,
the dew drops fall upon my lips,
coolness reminding me of the soon waking dawn,
though when i open my eyes they are your tears,
they fall upon me gently laced with care,
as you gaze down and i am captivated in your soul,
and the feathers which i lay upon are indeed connected to you,
i wipe away the tears from your calm face,
and hush your fears allowing my hand to cup your cheek,
do you feel my heart beating across this small but vast space?
the wind blows the moon into focus,
a glowing halo behind your head,
it only alights your features more,
the gasp that escapes my lips is not brought on by cold air,
though i believe that this space between us is too far,
and now my love come cover me in your warmth...
