10 Things I Like From 1986

10 Things I Like From 1986 In that year I got into The Bangles. I fell in love with their music and seductive looks. I still like them three decades on. Then there was Airwolf. This awesome jet chopper went round kicking Soviet butt. What's not to like? Super cool. Never mind the stunning F-20 Tigershark, the world's best close combat jet. She was sadly killed off in this year. I remember physical enjoyment with my illicit lover. How wrong that was. It means nothing now. Best forgotten. Buying beer from the shop while underage. It was fine, they needed my cash and I wanted to get drunk. We had bonfire wars. Our bonfire was the best, we guarded it and had endless laughs seeing it eventually burn. Being at school became fun. The bullies stopped and teachers went on strike. We did what we wanted. I read Sven Hassel books. His war **** is the best. Surreal images filled my mind of endless Nazi/Soviet battles. I had happy dreams of my late teen years. My alternative lady in purple, stealing my heart. It was all lies. I bought my first ever record in 86. Too Good To Be Forgotten by Amazulu. I still own it today. A good buy.
