As we commerate the great war thinking of what this world was like over these past 100 years sometimes it looks it's been on strike Has the world changed for the better? consider the vast changes there's been so much more affluency and materialism seems much more knowledge to glean But it's doubtful we're any better everything's so fast with no time to spare nobody's got time for one another there's a great lack of care In those days a century ago each looked out for their neighbour making sure they were always well giving to them no lack of labour Oh to get back to these values which brought contentment and respect then we had real true morals not like todays greed and need to get But time moves forever on the future lies there unknown expect that one day it'll all end when we'll receive what we've sown

Retour 1914 First WW, yes time has changed massively since then.We are now deeply attached to materialistic values or possessions. 100 years back common people were simple, helpful, hospitable but still they had to bear the brunt of WW I.We are amassing weapons for mass killing. We are real fools....."expect that one day it'll all end when we'll receive what we've sown"-- correct. WELL DONE G. hug.
