When you rest before sleep, do you:
Think of the past?
The day you just had?
Or tomorrow?
When you walk past a tree, do you:
Look at the leaves?
Pick some off the branch?
Or just borrow?
By the sea with your friends, do you:
Sit by the edge?
Dive in straight away?
Or just follow?
When you read through my heart, did you:
Find that I'm kind?
Find undying love?
Or just sorrow?
