00:09 - the Answer's Prepared
Ask me the question and I'll tell you no lie,
I do what I do to keep your voice alive.
I'm rereading, rereading each word you said,
As if somehow your words would become you instead.
I'm daydreaming, daydreaming when I close my eyes,
But the scenes are so good I can't stand my own lies.
I'm just living, just living, the wait makes me ill,
With a sentence you wake me, with your silence you kill.
I'm hoping you'll ask then, the truth is worth viewing,
Honestly, that, is what I spend my time doing.
