It's Just a Thought
"Is life a dream I'll waken from when dead?"-Oh, Dream, by Andrea Dietrich So much garbage in and garbage out. There's enough to force us to turn about. Perhaps the Lord designed for us a way of relief, helping to free us from the bondage of the beast. Dreams are like pressurized steam cleaners of the night, They function and serve us best when we shut out the light. Even though we often forget they were even there, God knows. Our dreams, like the cleansing of a river, as to the ocean she flows. They are usually quiet, but busy digging deep into our hearts and minds. A day nap pause is a reprieve, and very helpful as we relax and recline, because we spend much of our day collecting proverbial dirt, grit, and grime. Although we are sleeping and dreaming, the dream is really about a cleansing. The dream is hard at work releasing stress by dreaming while we lay sleeping. Sometimes shallow, but they often gift us with deep cleans , helping us to wake up beaming. I don't know for sure, but perhaps without dreaming, we would explode in bed, or simply fall asleep, and after nightmares, tosses, and turns, we'd soon be dead. It's just a thought, and I think too much; but I really think it's worth the thought. Anyway, dreams are our friend; and I'm grateful for the beauty they have brought. I read the poem of a poet who asked, "Is life a dream I'll waken from when dead?" I tell you, it's a good question, because sometimes, life is complicated and hard to tread. For the most part, while dreaming, I lose control of the things in my head. In answer to the poet question, my answer would be, "Life is not a dream, but in stead, dreams help us to navigate our lives".* 070321PS *Job 33:14, Eccles. 5:7.BNPL
